Women and female-identifying photographers can apply for a grant.
PHmuseum has established the PHM 2017 Women Photographers Grant to empower the work of female professionals of all ages and from all countries working in diverse areas of photography.
Contestants must submit a project featuring eight to 20 photos. At least four of them must have been shot after Jan. 1, 2015.
The first, second and third place winners will receive GBP5,000 (US$6,636), GBP2,000 (US$2,654) and GBP1,000 (US$1,327), respectively, in addition to a projection at Photo Vogue Festival 2017, a publication on YET Magazine and promotion via PHmuseum.
The New Generation Prize features a workshop at International Summer School of Photography 2018, an automatic nomination for the World Press Photo 2018 Joop Swart Masterclass, as well as a projection at Photo Vogue Festival 2017, a publication on YET Magazine and promotion via PHmuseum.
The deadline is Oct. 12. The early-bird fee is GBP15 (US$20) until Sept. 21. The regular entry fee is GBP25 (US$33).
