The European Film Festival celebrates diversity by showcasing films from over 20 European countries – in different languages and different genres. This year’s edition is scheduled for 4th – 27th May and the E.U. delegation would like to work with a curator to weave a narrative around the films and presents a cohesive festival experience for the 27th edition of the Film Festival.
The successful applicant would need to have the right to live and work in Nairobi. They will work with a team from the E.U. delegation to select the films, venues, and support the marketing effort for the festival. They would also need to be available for two days a week from 9 am to 5 pm.
British Council’s East Africa Arts programme is excited to pair the successful applicant with the opportunity to connect with optional mentorship support and networking opportunities with the British Film Institute (BFI) during this engagement and well into 2018.
